An Important Early Publisher

Card number 1, New York Sky Line from Brooklyn

An important early publisher in New York City of fine view cards. The earliest postcards are dated 1902 with postmarks appearing in 1903. They also published a Travel Book of photos of New York City in 1903 (see link at left, many of these photos appear on cards).

Card number 93, an early handcolored card, Central Park with Majestic Hotel and Dakota Apartments

Card number 188, High Bridge & Croton Waterworks on the Harlem River in New York City

Card numbering system was numerical with no apparent gaps. The highest card number we've seen is number 2911 (Grant House, Catskills, New York).

The company was purchased by The Rotograph Co. in 1904 who continued to publish their images on many cards.
